Some more ATCs

Awhile back now I made a post about the ATC group I was in at Fancy That. I have been a little slack in keeping this blog up to date so thought I would share with you the rest of my collection so far. They will include the stuff I have done for the group I'm in at Fancy That and the ones from Scrap Lounge.

Fancy That ATCs
 November - Flora and Fauna
I have used the resist technique on this ATC by stamping and embossing with clear embossing powder, then using a brush i brushed 3 different glimmer mists over the card, i stamped and bunched the butterfly also.

 December - Christmas
Using the swiss dot embossing folder I embossed the blue background, punched some snowflakes and paper pieced the reindeer (i think he is cute!)

 January - Australiana
i wanted the earthy feel and what more Australian can you get with Aboriginal style
painting and a Kangaroo.
I did a little research on the 'painting' side of things as I'm not a professional in any way but found that this type of pattern I have made as a background for my ATC is meant to symbolise Kangaroos
in traditional Aboriginal Painting.
The Kangaroo was cut by hand by me then placed onto cream card.

February - Love
I have used a Heart embossing folder onto red then mounted that onto black card. I have then stamped a cute cupid onto cream cardstock. You cant really see in this pic, but i did Dimensional magic the hair, pants and bow.

Scrap Lounge ATCs
 November - Friendship
The rules for this ATC was to use the word 'friendship' on the ATC. I created friendship bracelets using beads I then punched some butterflies and layered them i the top right hand corner.

 December - Group 1 - Christmas
I heat embossed using Gold embossing powder to create the angel with her horn, I also used a decorative corner punch and inked the edges to age the look of the ATC

 December - Group 2 - Christmas
I embossed the light pink cardstock and then cut out the tree and presents from some Kaiser papers.

January - Summer
I wanted to go vintage and used this awesome lady in her swimmers from way back when with her awesome large umbrella.

ScrapLounge Cyber Crop Challenges 2+3

You still have until Midnight Monday 27th of February to get your entries in for the Cyber Crop over on Scraplounge. Remember the theme is Love...
I would like to share with you 2 more challenges that are still running at the Cyber Crop.
Challenge 2 was my challenge, Use a song or lyrics to title your layout.

Below is my example for the challenge...

Im a HUGE Steve Perry/Journey Fan and thought this song was a great one to use as my title for the layout.

Now for some close ups...
I used Thickers for my 'Faithfully' title along with some basic grey letter stickers and a small cosmo cricket word 'Journey' i found on a sticker sheet I had.

I used Kaiser Craft Papers and wooden flourish, the brown flowers are zva and the cream flower came from the craft show last year.

The 3rd challenge was a sketch created by Mel, below is the sketch...

And here is my take on the sketch....

I have used Bo Bunny papers for this layout, now for some close ups...

This envelope I handmade...pretty cool hey?
I made this to replace a photo that was on the sketch, im not one for scrapping lots of photos on a layout.
This here is a Purple Pumpkin paper pattern flower that was in a vintage kit i got awhile back..

I have used this wonderful acrylic embellishment made by the girls at Kutalicious as my title.

Scrap The Boys Feb Challenge

Today I want to share with you a layout I have done based on the challenge over at Scrap The Boys.
I have used Echo Park Papers, my Sew Easy Tool and of course Purple Pumpkin Embellishments.

Here is a Pic of the full layout...

And now for some Close ups...just to see some more detail...

I love using large buttons at the moment, this red with white star button worked really well with the colours of the papers I used, the stripe button was from a pack I got ages ago from Purple Pumpkin, and to keep the balance I have added a white acrylic flower ontop of a black doily.

Clouds are a favorite of mine when it comes to Purple Pumpkin Embellishments, I find that I can never go wrong when I place the clouds on a layout as they just seem to 'float' as clouds do...

I thought i would also add this little close up in aswell, I have used some yellow/white bakers twine from PP and tied it into a bow onto my camera charm, adds a little extra colour and is very simple to do.
Dont forget to enter our Sketch Challenge for February  over at Purple Pumpkin and I hope you enjoy the rest of the week

Scrap Lounge Cyber Crop Challenge 1

Well its on again the Scrap Lounge Cyber Crop is well underway with 3 amazing challenges for the weekend..

the first challenge was by Storm, Create a Layout using at least 3 hearts and the word relationship/s somewhere on the layout.

Here is my Layout for the challenge...

And some close ups...

I used this quote for journaling and using the word 'Relationship' on the layout.

This beautiful flower was a badge that came with a top i have, the badge was a little too 'girly' for me so i thought it would be great as an embellishment one day...and it does :)
There is also a tiny maya road heart pin hidden amongst the flowers too...

SonShine

Happy midweek everyone...

Now onto my layout i would love to share with you today I designed this for my Purple Pumpkin Post...

I was playing around with some Kaiser Papers that were released last month, the colours were really not my norm but I love what I came up with, and I hope you do too...

I titled it 'You are the Son-shine of my life' cos my lil Fletchy is....
He always has something funny to say to cheer me up, and his hugs are extra special :)

Above and below, show how I used the Large Owl Buttons, i love these buttons they are so cute, they look fab on this Kiaser wooden birdcage.

I have used a denim/red floral button that i received in a Purple Pumpkin pack ages ago, I thought the colours of it worked well with this paper.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week...
